Lincoln County Fair 2012

If you didn't see my post with Dustin's hog wrestle in it, don't forget to scroll down a few because it's worth watching.  :) We just stayed that night after he was finished and let our kids ride the rides.  Pretty sure Noah was a little too small for a few, but they let him on anyway.  Such a big boy!

Dustin got some gorgeous pictures of the sunset.  We actually won a gift certificate for our grocery store for this last picture.  Not too shabby!

Walters' Reunion 2012

We had our Walters' family reunion this year in Bear Lake.  Tons of fun, like always.  Here are a few pics.  We went to Bloomington Lake.  Holy cold!  Noah, Jude, and I ended up hanging in the car.

Crazy Kylee and Brandt...went off the rope swing.  I don't know how cold it was outside, but there was still snow on the ground.
 Minnetonka caves.
And a day at the lake of course.
 Just relaxing...
Dustin helped a few of the kids build this sand castle.  This picture doesn't do it justice.  I am sitting on the beach and this was pretty far out.  It's huge!  You can kind of tell by the bucket by it.
And all the guys (and a few girls) played a football game in the water.  It was quite entertaining.
As always, so much fun being with family.  Love you all!

I know this is way long ago, and it's weird looking at summer pictures because it's almost Christmas, but I really want to catch up and not miss out on posting a bunch of this stuff. For my sake. Since my brain is shot. :) This post is about a few firsts we had this summer. Macie's first soccer season/game.

Jude's first bath.
And of course, I didn't want to forget Dustin's first hog wrestle! He got a call one night saying he was going to be wrestling a hog the next day at the fair. (Apparently they signed up all the new guys at his work)
The funny thing is...on this team of four, not one person had ever done anything like this before. They ended up winning first place! So proud! :)

Fourth of July

I have a lot of catching up to do! This year on the fourth, we went to Soda. I haven't been since Macie was a baby, so it was kind of fun. Most of my family was there since it happened to be the same time as our family reunion in Bear Lake.

Some of the grandkids.
Jude's first real venture out.  He was 9 days old!
Macie and Addi.
Addi, Macie, and Carly.  These cousins will all be in the same class!
Lilli and Kate.
Above: Kaveni and Apisai.  Below: Jayci, Lilli, Addi, Macie, and Carly.
Jude and his little friend, Rex. He's three days older than Jude. Glad we got to see Alisha!
Stopped by the cemetery for a quick visit.
Had a really fun fourth. It was fun seeing people I haven't seen for so long!

Jude McKay Hansen

Finally! I can finally blog about our new baby! We have had a virus on our computer, and my time has somehow been sucked up lately, but I have been wanting to introduce everyone to our new little man!

Jude McKay Hansen
Born: 12:51 PM on June 25, 2012
8 lbs. 21 in.

I realize pictures of pregnancy and labor and everything are not the most flattering pictures in the world, but don't judge!  :)  I really thought I was going to have my baby earlier than I really did, but I was scheduled to be induced on Monday, the 25th.  Dustin's mom was nice enough to come stay at our house the night before so she could watch our kids.  We went in on Monday morning at 7:00 AM.  I got started on Pitocin at about 7:30.  I got an epidural at about 9:45 and was dilated to a four.  The epidural only worked on one side.  My water broke at about 10:15.  They did another epidural.  For about an hour I was really not having fun.  The contractions were hurting so bad.  I was just sweating and oblivious to the world around me.  :)  Nice job to all those natural laborers out there.  I'm not one.  My second epidural worked like a charm.  The nurse just kept telling me that if I felt the need to push to let her know.  I didn't really know, so I just hung out.  The doctor came in and checked me and I was fully dilated.  He got ready and told me to push whenever I felt like it.  I pushed once and out popped Baby Jude!

Lovely close-up!

Amanda stopped by on her way to a family reunion when Jude was 5 days old. She isn't taking pictures right now, but she couldn't help but snap a few spur of the moment shots of my little man. THANKS AMANDA!!! How cute for no planning, right?
